We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, payment information (processed by Stripe), and any content you submit. We also collect usage data including pages viewed, browser type, and IP address.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process donations, send receipts and project updates, improve our platform, and communicate about SeeImpact services. We never sell your personal data.

Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. SeeImpact never stores your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.

Data Sharing

We share your name and donation amount with the nonprofit you donate to (unless you choose anonymous). We use Clerk for authentication, Supabase for data storage, and Resend for email delivery.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Donation records are retained for tax compliance purposes.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@seeimpact.org. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA.
