Why we built this
Most donation platforms treat giving like a transaction. You click donate, money disappears, and you get a tax receipt. Maybe an annual report months later. For the donor, there's no connection. For the nonprofit, there's no way to show the incredible work they're doing every day.
SeeImpact changes that. Every project on our platform requires video content from the nonprofit showing the real need. Every campaign gets regular photo and video updates so donors can watch their impact unfold. Every dollar is tracked, and every story is told.
We built SeeImpact as a marketplace where independent nonprofits can reach new donors through transparency — not marketing budgets. Gifts to US 501(c)(3) partners go to each nonprofit through Stripe Connect. Gifts to partners without US nonprofit status go to SEE IMPACT, INC, SeeImpact's nonprofit fiscal sponsor, which sends the funds on to them. Either way, we make sure you can see where your money goes.

Nonprofit posts a project
Organizations create campaigns with video content, a clear description of the need, and a funding goal. Every project is reviewed before it goes live.
NonprofitDonor finds and gives
Donors browse projects, watch videos, and donate any amount — one-time or monthly. Payment is handled securely through Stripe.
DonorMoney goes to the organization
For US 501(c)(3) partners, Stripe Connect sends the donation, less fees, to the nonprofit's own Stripe account and on to its bank account. The nonprofit sees the gift in its Stripe dashboard right away. For partners without US nonprofit status, the donation goes to SEE IMPACT, INC, SeeImpact's nonprofit fiscal sponsor. It holds the funds for the project and sends them to the organization by bank wire.

The project page automatically updates with the new raised amount and donor count. No manual work — our system handles it.
AutomaticNonprofit shares impact
As funds are put to work, the nonprofit posts photo and video updates to the project page. Donors can follow along and see the real-world change they helped create.

PCI-compliant payments
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which maintains the highest level of PCI compliance. We never see or store your card details.
Clear payout routing
US 501(c)(3) partners are paid through Stripe Connect to their own bank account. Partners without US nonprofit status are supported by SEE IMPACT, INC, SeeImpact's nonprofit fiscal sponsor, which receives their donations and sends the funds to them by wire.
Verified organizations
Every partner is vetted before it can post projects. We review financial documentation, and for US nonprofits we also check 501(c)(3) status and EIN.
Tax-deductible receipts
Donors receive an automatic receipt for every donation. Gifts to verified US 501(c)(3) partners are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. So are gifts to partners without US nonprofit status, because they are made to SEE IMPACT, INC, SeeImpact's nonprofit fiscal sponsor, which is a US 501(c)(3).
Transparent fees
Standard payment processing: 2.9% + $0.30 per donation, plus a 20% platform fee. Donors can opt to cover processing fees.
Fraud protection
Stripe Radar uses machine learning trained on billions of transactions to detect and block fraudulent activity in real time.

Rachel Zelon
Founding Member & Former CEO, Hunger Relief International
Rachel Zelon has been working in the field of humanitarian assistance and development for over four decades. Rachel was a founding member of Hunger Relief International in 2009. Her energies have been focused on child protection, promoting the rights of children, and working towards a world where children’s rights include having access to all basic needs. Her leadership has resulted in the promotion of expanded access to critical nutrition, clean water, decent sanitation, health care, and education for vulnerable children living in extreme poverty. In recent years, the scope of her work has expanded to include the fight against child trafficking into institutionalized care in Haiti. Rachel has her Masters Degree in Social Work. Rachel concluded her role as CEO in 2025 but continues to serve on the HRI team managing HRI programs and more.
Jennifer Jones
CEO, Hunger Relief International
Jennifer Jones has worked in international development and organization management since 2003. She is regarded for growing nonprofits through partner development, fundraising, grant and foundation partnerships, communications, volunteer and internship management, and more. One example is raising funds for 675+ small projects similar to those on SeeImpact. She has coordinated and led mission teams for 20+ years. She’s also improved and expanded development projects and monitoring and evaluation in the field. She’s worked with local and federal law enforcement and other agencies to identify and serve victims of child and sex trafficking in the U.S. and abroad and is credited for opening a successful rehabilitation home. Jennifer has been with HRI since January 2018 and was promoted to CEO in September 2025.
