Why we built this
Most donation platforms treat giving like a transaction. You click donate, money disappears, and you get a tax receipt. Maybe an annual report months later. For the donor, there's no connection. For the nonprofit, there's no way to show the incredible work they're doing every day.
SeeImpact changes that. Every project on our platform requires video content from the nonprofit showing the real need. Every campaign gets regular photo and video updates so donors can watch their impact unfold. Every dollar is tracked, and every story is told.
We built SeeImpact as a marketplace where independent nonprofits can reach new donors through transparency — not marketing budgets. Donations route directly to each nonprofit through Stripe Connect. We never hold your money. We just make sure you can see where it goes.

Nonprofit posts a project
Organizations create campaigns with video content, a clear description of the need, and a funding goal. Every project is reviewed before it goes live.
NonprofitDonor finds and gives
Donors browse projects, watch videos, and donate any amount — one-time or monthly. Payment is handled securely through Stripe with support for cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
DonorMoney goes directly to the nonprofit
Stripe Connect routes the donation straight to the nonprofit's own bank account. SeeImpact never touches the funds. The nonprofit sees the donation in their Stripe dashboard immediately.

The project page automatically updates with the new raised amount and donor count. No manual work — our system handles it.
AutomaticNonprofit shares impact
As funds are put to work, the nonprofit posts photo and video updates to the project page. Donors can follow along and see the real-world change they helped create.

PCI-compliant payments
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which maintains the highest level of PCI compliance. We never see or store your card details.
Direct-to-nonprofit routing
Donations go straight to the nonprofit's bank account via Stripe Connect. SeeImpact is not a money transmitter and never holds funds.
Verified organizations
Every nonprofit is verified — we check 501(c)(3) status, EIN, and financial documentation before they can post projects.
Tax-deductible receipts
Donors receive an automatic receipt for every donation. All gifts to verified 501(c)(3) organizations are tax-deductible.
Transparent fees
Standard payment processing: 2.2% + $0.30 per donation, plus a 20% platform fee. Donors can opt to cover processing fees.
Fraud protection
Stripe Radar uses machine learning trained on billions of transactions to detect and block fraudulent activity in real time.
